Unitarian Universalists Host Honcho

William F. Schulz, was guest speaker today
"Executive Director of Amnesty International USA, the U.S. division of Amnesty International, from March 1994 to 2006. He is an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister, and served as president of the Unitarian Universalist Association from 1985 to 1993." - Wikipedia entry
Quite an inspiring speaker, is Rev. Shulz. I wish I'd videotaped it for YouTube. Some key points: wisdom does not equal power, and everyone should choose a real rose over a gold or silver one. He also spoke of the daily struggle for faith, when faced with horrible human suffering during his days as head of AI USA.

However, given the value of gold, compared to roses, I had to question the wisdom of the second bit of advice, which Rev. Shulz took good naturedly, before posting photo with the congregation's regular minister William Sasso (left in photo).
